The J-School held a graduate recognition ceremony on Sunday, December 9, in Woodruff Auditorium

of the Kansas Union. It was followed by a reception in the Big 12 Room of the Union. This year, Mike Swenson, J-School grad and vice president of Barkley in Kansas City, was the graduation speaker. Read his speech.

Sixty-one bachelor’s and five master’s degree recipients were recognized. Dean Ann Brill presided. Patty Noland presented the graduates, who were greeted by track chairs Tim Bengtson and Rick Musser.
