More than 40 undergraduate and graduate students participated in the December School of Journalism graduate recognition event on Dec. 14 at the Kansas Union.

Associate Dean David Guth presided over the ceremony. Cindy Maude, CEO of Callahan Creek in Lawrence, was the guest speaker. Patty Noland announced the graduates’ names, and students were greeted on stage by Mike Williams and Tim Bengtson. Jennifer Kinnard and Penny Hodge planned the event, and Samantha Mangino Hardy greeted students and guests.
