Kansas Editors Day set for Sat., Sept. 6, to feature panel of political insiders

Editors Day 2008 Program:
“Post Conventions: What’s Next in Election 2008?”

The University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications, with the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics, will host Editors Day on Saturday, September 6, the date of the Kansas/Louisiana football game.

The program begins at 1:30 p.m. in Alderson Auditorium of the Kansas Union. The program is free and open to the public. The football game kicks off at 6 p.m.

Program panelists include: Bill Lacy, director of the Robert J. Dole Institute of Politics and former campaign manager for Fred Thompson's presidential campaign; Walter Shapiro, Washington bureau chief for Salon.com; and Raymond D. Strother, author, political consultant and television political commentator.

School of Journalism Associate Dean David Guth
will moderate the panel.
