Graduating in May or August 2010?

Grad checks for students graduating in May or August 2010

If you plan to graduate in May or August 2010, please make an appointment with the Journalism Advising and Records Office to complete required graduation forms and have a graduation check. We would like to complete all grad checks for tentative May and August grads by October 9. You must apply and have a grad check in order for your name to be on the official commencement list. Please make an appointment online by following the instructions under "reservation system."

If you plan to graduate in December 2009 and have not already had a grad check, please make an appointment with the Journalism Advising and Records Office as soon as possible.

NOTE FOR STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION MAJORS GRADUATING IN MAY or AUGUST 2010 (If you are a news and information major, you may disregard this.)

If you plan to take Jour 676, Strategic Campaigns, in spring 2010, please be sure you are enrolled in (or have completed) the three prerequisites:

  1. Jour 435, Message Development
  2. Jour 513, Principles of Advertising, or Jour 523, Principles of Public Relations
  3. Jour 568, Marketing and Media Research

These prerequisites must be completed before Campaigns. Concurrent enrollment is not allowed.
