Journalism Learning Community

Interested in getting involved with campus media right away? Want to know how to get a summer internship? Wondering what the professors are really like? Not sure how to choose a minor or what a 3x3 is?

Become a part of the new Journalism Learning Community and you will learn all of that, plus so much more!

The new Journalism Learning Community (JLC) provides new School of Journalism students with ways to connect with other students, faculty and staff.

The JLC meets once a month, in a fun, open setting after the Journalism 101 class. Meet upper-class student leaders in the J-School, who can answer questions, and other new students who are thinking about careers in the fields of public relations, media management, advertising, online publishing and more!

One meeting, once a month -- a fantastic way to start your School of Journalism career!

Please contact Cara Farnell, academic advisor, with any questions.

Stay tuned for a schedule of Spring 2012 JLC meeting times and dates.
