education on the state, regional and national levels.
KSPA - Kansas Scholastic
Press Association
The Kansas Scholastic Press Association is a non-profit organization composed
of Kansas high school and junior high school journalism teachers and their
students.
This organization is committed to excellence in journalism at all levels and
focuses on providing journalism education leadership for Kansas teachers and
students.
KSPA provides a support system through its contests, conferences and scheduled
activities.

KJI
- Kansas Journalism Insitute
The Kansas Journalism Insitute is one of the nation's best-known summer journalism
programs. Each year, it draws about 200 participants from a dozen or more states
to the University of Kansas campus.

ACEJMC
- Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism
and Mass Communications
The Accrediting Council on Education in Journalism and Mass Communications,
or ACEJMC, is the agency responsible for the evaluation of professional journalism
and mass communications programs in colleges and universities.

J-School Community Journalism Grant: Covering Communities Web Site
The Covering Communities Web site has gone public! Check it out to learn more about getting stories first, expanding your source list, asking better questions, and understanding how communities really work. The site is for working journalists, citizen journalists, students and professors.
