Expertise

Basow teaches strategic communication courses, including strategic campaigns, in which students work in teams to solve a current communication problem for an actual client.  Past clients have included various KU-based health/science groups: Center for Remote Sensing of Ice Sheets (CReSIS), KU Biodiversity Research, and the KU School of Medicine.  He has conducted research in China through a Fulbright fellowship, as well as in Kyrgyzstan, Croatia, Albania and other countries.
