Jennifer Griner is the new program assistant in the Dean’s Office of the School of Journalism. Her primary duties include assisting the Dean with special projects such as School reaccreditation, communication between the School and industries and helping with student and alumni events.
She will also be assisting with the Kansas Journalism Institute, the Journalism Career Fair and the Military and Media collaboration with Fort Leavenworth, as well as working with the School’s Business Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Dean.
Griner is a Kansas native who recently moved back to the area from southern Florida. While in Florida, she worked as a Project Manager for a large residential homebuilder. Prior to this she worked in the Dean’s Office of the College of Humanities at the University of Utah where she assisted with fundraising and development for the College.
Jennifer graduated from Kansas State University in 2001 with a B.S. in Psychology.
