May 17: Journalism Graduate Recognition Ceremony, 8:30 a.m., Lied Center. Faculty and
students should try to arrive by 8 a.m.

May 18: KU Commencement. Shanxi Upsdell will carry the banner. Tim Bengtson and Sue Novak will be faculty marshals for journalism.

June 15-19: Kansas Journalism Institute for high school journalists and teachers.

August 6-9: AEJMC convention in Chicago.
